Sea Shepherd needs a lot of money for all our campaigns to protect the oceans.
To finance these campaigns, we depend 100% on donations.
“Music For Life” is an initiative launched by Studio Brussel, the pop/rock radio station of Flemish VRT.
Each year, Studio Brussel organises “De Warmste Week” (The Warmest Week) in the week before Christmas. From 18 to 24 December 2017, Studio Brussel will dedicate their airtime to support over 1,000 good causes, playing the favourite songs of listeners who sent in their requests… in return for them making a donation to a good cause of their choice.
These donations and fundraisers can already be started up TODAY. On dewarmsteweek.stubru.be, you can submit your own fundraiser to benefit one of the more than 1,000 good causes registered on the site.
SEA SHEPHERD BELGIUM is one of these good causes! So this is a warm appeal to all our supporters to make an extra effort for “The Warmest Week” and to organise a fundraiser for Sea Shepherd Belgium.
Need some inspiration? You can perhaps organise a drink stall at your local Christmas market; arrange a vegan “Dining 4 the Oceans” at your favourite restaurant; bake and sell vegan cookies, pancakes or waffles; organise goodie bags with Sea Shepherd merchandise for Christmas or New Year’s presents…
